There was a moment that changed everything for me.
I was working with parents and I kept noticing the same painful gap. These were loving, determined parents who wanted to protect their children. They were showing up, asking questions, and doing everything they thought they were supposed to do. But when it came to using their school's own bullying prevention policy as a tool for advocacy, they had no idea it was even an option.
That gap between what parents deserved to know and what they actually knew lit a fire in me. And DaliTalks LLC was born.
Too many parents feel unheard when they try to advocate for their child. They lie awake at night wondering whether their child will be safe if a bully targets them. They don't need a research study to tell them that bullying leaves lasting marks on mental health. They've lived it. They've watched their children carry wounds that didn't fade.
The frustration isn't a lack of love or effort. It's a lack of information and access.
That's exactly the gap I set out to close.
My mission is to equip parents, educators, and organizational leaders with the knowledge, language, and tools to protect children before a crisis happens. And for children who do encounter bullying, the goal is resilience. Because no child's future should be determined by someone else's cruelty.
This work is not just about stopping bullying in the moment. It's about building adults who know how to advocate, how to communicate effectively, and how to create environments where children feel safe and supported.
From PTA Workshops to National Conversations
What started as workshops for PTA members has grown into something I could not have imagined when I first began. I've shared this work on public radio, on podcasts, through keynote speeches, and in online and in-person workshops across the country.
I've also written books specifically designed to help parents and educators take confident, informed action, including Confident, Bully-Proof Kids, a practical guide for any parent who is ready to stop worrying and start acting.
Every new platform has reinforced what I already believed: this conversation is urgent, it is needed, and parents are hungry for it.
One of the things that sets DaliTalks apart is the focus on language. I bring this into professional development trainings for organizations that serve children and families, because advocacy without precise language falls flat.
When a parent or educator can clearly name what is happening, describe its impact, and propose a solution using the right words and the right tone, they become a far more effective advocate. Leadership communication and bullying prevention are not separate conversations. They are deeply connected.
"Advocacy without precise language falls flat. When the adults in the room know how to name the problem and propose solutions effectively, everything changes."
If you lead an organization, a school, or a community group that serves children and families, I would love to explore how we can work together.
Whether that looks like a keynote, a workshop, or a professional development training, the goal is always the same: equip the adults, protect the children.

Every child deserves to be protected. Every parent deserves to feel equipped to fight for them. And every organization that serves families has the power to be part of the solution.
Let's get to work.

Most kids NEVER tell an adult that they're being bullied because they try to handle the situation alone or they fear that telling an adult might make matters worse.
